Our Story
Top Coat was incorporated in the State of Texas in March of 1980. At inception, Top Coat's main line of business was industrial painting. In 1981, Top Coat began performing maintenance services for several oil and gas producers. After a few years working offshore, Top Coat began to perform construction services as well as painting and maintenance. Our list of clients now numbers in the hundreds, offshore and onshore.
For the last few years the bulk of our offshore business has been the installation of gas compressors, platform hookups, platform upgrades, and platform decommissioning. Onshore, however, our fabrication ability has grown enormously through the fabrication of multiple structures weighing up to 50 tons each as well as stainless and carbon pipe fabrication jobs with spools numbering in the thousands.
Our company is very strong financially and has an outstanding credit history. Our debt load is extremely low with a significant credit line at our disposal.
